The The area of the Waterfall is characterized by rocky walls that rise, embracing the river for much of its course. Alferello Waterfall is a spectacular waterfall of about 32 meters. Downstream of the waterfall, the stream has dug a series of "erosion potholes", i.e. circular pools created by the swirling action of water and debris.
